In 1533, upon marrying King Henry II, Catherine de' Medici brought her Italian pastry chefs to France who, in turn, created the lovely French Macaron. Almost 500 years later, I am bringing the joy of these fabulous little confections to Boston. My love affair with the macaron began at first sight. Brilliant colors worn proudly by each elegant little cookie in a sophisticated, yet playful manner. The flavors certainly live up to their beauty. Not only a treat, but an incredible experience, the French Macaron is something to be savored.
